snowing.....
it's snowing again today. i barely left the apartment yesterdaysince the weather was so horrible, but at the end of the day i
decided to walk to taksim and go see "kurtlar vadisi irak." this
is a turkish film that was just released here and is (i've heard)
the most expensive turkish film ever made. now, i saw it in
turkish, so i can't comment too much on the story... i can say
that it was shot really well, the actors were superb (billy zane
and gary busey are in it, too.....!), and the music was great.
it was really, really anti-american (well, anti-american military)
and was interesting to watch. i would really like to watch a
version with english subtitles at some point, because i'm sure
i would enjoy it a lot more. i think if anyone is interested in
a middle-eastern perspective on the war in iraq/american military,
it's worth seeing. it is, of course, a work of fiction set in
current times... so it's not 100% accurate, but it's well-done
and worth seeing.

can I ask u a question Camille, what do you think about the situation and conflict, that have started from a drawen picture of Muhammed in a newspaper in Denmark... do you think its right so judge the whole Danish and neighbor contries people cos of that?
personally, I think it's unfair to ask that question here on a blog site. Too many people can get offended no matter which way Camille answers.
well i seen that movie 2 day ago. Actually disappointed a lot. Its to complicated to explain here and take it long .
Action is good , music is the best in the movie but in my opinion its 5.5/10

Okey this is interesting, here we have an american living in a muslim country, like two poles have met..she got the perspective I think she is just the right person to answer this kind of question(as in the first coment) if she wants to, but ofcourse she as an humanbeing has a right to choose not to answer. And if she do answer, she can choose how she do it. As we all have a freedom to choose everything we do, dont we. I think this is an issue, like many others in the world now, that should be solved in a peaceful way...
Just to correct not to offend, Denmark is a Monarchy, with a queen and a primeminister, like England, they dont have no president. And here we go again, peace on earth, in Iraq and everywhere else!
I think she should answer the question in Danish, clearly.
